Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen, then tap Add to Home Screen. Name it "Stremio" and tap Add.

Open the app from your home screen and sign in with your Stremio credentials. Signing in ensures your addons and settings sync properly.

Go to the App Store and download Outplayer — it's free. This lets Stremio open stream links in a proper video player.

In Stremio Web, go to Settings → Advanced and set the external player to Outplayer.
Once set, tapping any stream will open automatically in Outplayer.
For Advanced Users — Sideload the Full App
The official Stremio IPA is available at stremio.com/downloads. Use AltStore or Sideloadly to install it — no jailbreak required. Free Apple IDs require re-signing every 7 days. On iOS 14–17, TrollStore installs it permanently.

Try the App Store First

Open the App Store / Play Store / Amazon Appstore on your TV and search for Stremio. If it appears, install it and you're done.
Stremio is available on some Fire TV and Android TV devices. Try this first before using Downloader.
If Not in the Store — Use Downloader

Install the Downloader app by AFTVnews from your TV's app store. It's free and available on Fire TV and Android TV.

Enable unknown app installs. On Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps → enable Downloader. On Android TV: Settings → Apps → Downloader → enable Unknown Sources.

Open Downloader, select the URL field, and type stremio.com, then press Go. This loads Stremio's official download page.
Always use the official site — it's the safest source for the APK.

Tap Download for Android TV / Fire TV. Once downloaded, tap Install.

Open Stremio and sign in with your credentials. You can scan the QR code on screen with your phone to log in quickly.
